All eyes were on Lily Allen when she walked the red carpet at the NME awards 2014 on Wednesday.
The singer headed to London's 02 Brixton Academy and wore an eccentric sixties-style shift dress and threw a bright furry jacket over her shoulder
.
She was in high spirits as she arrived at the event, where Arctic Monkeys, Damon Albarn, Paul McCartney and Blondie are also attending.

Lily, who is enjoying her time back in the limelight showed off her slim figure in her mini dress which was made up of orange, black and white panels.
She gave herself some extra inches by throwing on an iridescent white pair of sky-high stilettos which complemented her tanned legs and she carried a pricey black Louis Vuitton bag.
But perhaps the most striking item of all was the green and blue furry jacket that she threw over one shoulder like some type of stole.

Lily always pays close to attention to detail and was sporting a green, yellow and red manicure. She wore her black and blue hair up in an Audrey-Hepburn style 'do.
The singer took to her Twitter page earlier in the day to hit back at those who had been criticising her over her mothering skills, after her busy few weeks in the spotlight.
She wrote: 'good morning, i'm getting alot of nasty messages in my feed about my children. Thank you for your concern, but i assure you they are fine.'
No doubt she was happy to put the incident behind her and enjoy her night.

In true showbiz style, the artist soon changed into a second outfit - a bright red pair of trousers, a matching top and an eccentric gold jacket and matching trainers.

Performances on the night will come from Best New Band nominees Drenge plus The Horrors and Metronomy alongside Blondie, who have been named this year's Godlike Genius.
In addition, Belle & Sebastian will receive the Teenage Cancer Trust Outstanding Contribution To Music Award and will also perform live.
