For as much chatter as Mariah Carey gets for being a "diva," the
woman legend doesn't let anything stop her from putting on a SHOW. Not an early morning wardrobe malfunction and
certainly not a dislocated shoulder
. Mimi kept her previously scheduled performance for the 2013 Major League Baseball All-Star Charity Concert this weekend, swanning onto the stage in all her slinky, sparkly evening gowned glory. True to form, the "#Beautiful" singer had outfit changes. And more than that, she had a slew of glamorous sling options.
YEP. Leave it to Mariah to figure out a way to incorporate her newly
mandated medical accessory fluidly into her performance outfits.
Swaddling her arm restraint in immaculate white fur, the sling
transforms into an almost boa-like
deliberate ensemble
addition. Underneath the plushy sling,even the bare bones, pure utility
version is encrusted in glittering rhinestones, but that's not even
ALL. Later in her set, Mimi changes into a black bodycon column dress
with a laced up neckline. A white sling against the new outfit would be
too harsh a contrast, so naturally, Mariah has another option: a deep
teal feather-laden cover!
