It was
night dedicated to the final nine performances as semi-final week drew
to a close, but as she made her way onto the stage ahead of proceedings
on Thursday evening judge Alesha Dixon drew attention by scoring a rare
fashion fail.
The
former singer caught the eye in  a garish polka dot blouse as she
joined fellow judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Amanda Holden for
the last of four semi-finals before the show closes next Saturday.
The
loose fitting top, which did little to compliment her toned frame,
proved to be at odds with her unusual gold and black brocade print
mini-skirt, of which the saving grace proved to be a high waistline that
drew attention to her slender waistline.
Here she is: But Alesha Dixon scored a rare fashion fail with this ensemble on Thursday's Britain's Got Talent semi-final
Rounding
the ensemble off with a pair of strappy heels, Alesha was hard to miss
as she settled into her seat ahead of another lively show.

Conversely, Amanda looked stunning in a sweeping peach gown, a zesty variant of the striking blue number she wore on Wednesday.
Its
sleeveless detail gave the actress another opportunity to show off her
toned arms, while its form fitting design clung to her slender frame.

Here they come: But it was Amanda Holden who won in the fashion stakes as the judges took to the stage on Thursday evening

The jury's out: Alesha Dixon matched her polka
dot blouse with a black and gold print brocade skirt and matching
strappy heels for the last Britain's Got Talent semi-final

Seeing the funny side: Alesha was in high spirits, but her ensemble divided opinion on Thursday evening
Alesha conceded they were shaping up for a 'really strong
final' as the show opened with a performance from dance troupe the Innova Irish Dance Company.
But
it was Ukrainian act Light Balance who proved to be amongst the
highlights with another lively, intricately choreographed display,
The group
were charged with the responsibility for following cheesy dance act
Allan Turner-Ward , and after soaking up rapturous applause, the group
looked to the judging panel - with a clearly impressed Amanda Holden and
 Simon Cowell leading the compliments.

Impressive: It was another lively display from Ukrainian dance act Light Balance

Incredible: It was a successful night for Light Balance
'I didn't
know how you were going to possibly top your audition but I honestly
did,' said a stunned Amanda. 'You were absolutely fantastic. There's so
much depth to this act - absolutely bloody brilliant.
With Allan in mind Simon added: 'You may have saved the show, what with who preceded you.'
'The energy was brilliant,' agreed Alesha Dixon. 'That is more like it.'

A tale of two outfits: Amanda and Alesha once again wore wildly contrasting ensembles on Thursday evening
