Bale a £88m transfer target for Man Utd

Real Madrid midfielder Gareth Bale is linked with a move to Manchester United.

Manchester United are trying to sign Real Madrid midfielder Gareth Bale for a reported fee of £88m in the January transfer window.
Bale joined Los Blancos 12 months ago when he left Tottenham and he could now be on the verge of returning back to the Premier League with Tottenham rivals Manchester United.
If Bale were to join up with the Red Devils he would be lining up alongside former Real Madrid team mate Angel Di Maria who now plays at Old Trafford.
Since joining Los Blancos Bale has scored 22 La Liga goals in 36 apparences including a goal last night in Los Blancos' 4-1 win over U.D. Almeria.
